With this astonishing economy of words, Moses records the start of a worldwide flood, Earth’s worst geologic disaster to date, noting its specific year, month, and day in history. At its apex, the floodwaters covered all the preflood mountains (Genesis 7:20). Where did all this water come from and where did it go? What were the fountains of the great deep? Bill Wells is an engineer and retired military and commercial pilot. Upon becoming a Christian in 1987, he began re-examining beliefs he had previously passively accepted as true, including billions-of-years of evolution. Ken Ham’s book, The Lie: Evolution, challenged all his previously-held beliefs about creation, evolution, science and the age of the earth.
